What a Refillable Leather Journal Cover Is

Match the size name and it works: an A5 cover takes any A5 notebook, a Field Notes cover takes any 3.5" × 5.5" (8.9 × 14 cm) pocket notebook, a B6 cover takes a B6. Choosing a Size

For long entries, weekly planning, sketching or running several notebooks at once, start with A5 or B5. For something that lives in a coat pocket or a small bag, compare A6, B6, Pocket Size and Field Notes-compatible covers. Regular Size is the tall, narrow traveler's notebook format and the usual middle ground. A4 is for desk work, drawing and anything you would otherwise fold in half.
